Why should I join Spiritual Lives Of Women and participate in a Gathering
Group?
Because you believe that mothering is more than just raising children, it’s a calling, a
spiritual practice. You believe as a woman you are called by God to a great purpose.
You will be meeting with other moms and women who share your love of mothering and
also your desire to do what God has called you to do. You will be with other women and
moms who are seeking a deeper understanding of God and themselves
Is it a support group?
No, Spiritual Lives Of Women was not created to be a support group. It was created to
help women and moms celebrate their unique spiritual nature.
There are some aspects of a support group in the way we speak about our lives, but the
group’s main function is to help women and moms hear how God is calling them.
Then it’s a Bible study?
We do spend time in prayer and with scripture but the groups are designed to help the
women and moms to look closely at their lives and find the spiritual in the everyday and
to celebrate that.
What else do you do?
We also want to give back to the community, create strong families and have fun. We
hold retreats and times of renewal. We have speakers who address subjects of interest.
We support various Christian organizations. We do crafts. We have clothing exchanges,
and social get-togethers. We support each other with prayer.

who felt, and feel, a great need to reconnect with God and themselves while dealing
with the busyness of their lives as mothers, wives, employees and Daughters of God.
As a spiritual director I work with mothers of children of all ages and I hear these moms
complain that they have lost time for their spiritual lives, they have lost a sense of
